Product quality and safety control is carried out in the modernly equipped internal laboratories of Elixir Zorka and Elixir Prahovo. It is imperative not only to have a safe product, but also the production and packaging process itself. Elixir Zorka and Elixir Prahovo are certified in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

Phosphoric acid – a strategic product used in many industrial processes, with a growing demand for application in new products on the market. Phosphoric acid of technical grade is a multifunctional agent that is used in the production of liquid fertilizers for feeding plants, in the steel industry, for flame retardants and fire extinguishers and for many other applications. Phosphoric acid of feed grade is a favorable acidity regulator and is used as an antioxidant and ph value regulator in the animal feed production industry.
Elixir Zorka applies DRUM DEN technology in the production of complex mineral fertilizers, which enables the homogeneity of the reaction mass, a high degree of reactivity and the utilization of active substances. Production processes in mineral fertilizer factories are harmonized with domestic and European regulations for the production and trade of mineral fertilizers in the Republic of Serbia, EU member states and other countries that have harmonized their regulations with the EU.

Elixir Zorka, a member company of Elixir Group, is determined to enter the EMAS system in order to achieve full transparency of information from the area of environmental protection to all interested parties. This will be an additional tool in EMS management and an upgrade to the existing ISO 14001 certificate.
Participation in the EMAS process should enable the business system to gain a market advantage through the improvement of relations with interested parties, financial benefit thanks to better business control and to harmonize business with existing and future legislation. In this way, we contribute to sustainable development, which is our ultimate goal.
We are currently in the preparation phase for the compliance with the new European legal obligation related to the reporting of carbon dioxide emissions (carbon footprint) during the life cycle.
New standards from the 14000 family are being introduced, which relate to the overview of the product life cycle and the calculation of CO2 emissions. The following standards will be respected:

We use the most modern filters and scrubber systems for air purification. In the middle of 2021, we doubled the capacity of the Elixir Zorka scrubber system and installed the most modern equipment of the last generation.
Competence of the laboratory
The laboratory is in the phase of preparation for accreditation according to the standard SRPS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 – General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.

The laboratory uses national and international standards for sampling and testing procedures – SRPS, EN, ISO, DIN, BS, AOAC…
The laboratory constantly ensures the quality of analyses by using certified reference materials, in-house reference materials and interlaboratory comparisons.
