Elixir Prahovo is today the most successful and fastest growing company in the region of Eastern Serbia with more than 800 employees. Investments in the production of phosphoric acid and NPK fertilizers, purification of phosphoric acid, opening of new plants such as Aluminum trifluoride (AlF3), investment in technological and infrastructural development, care for safety, health and the environment – are in the focus of strategic development.
By revitalizing existing plants and infrastructure, Elixir Prahovo provides a strategically important raw material – phosphoric acid, and increases the total production capacity of NPK fertilizers in cooperation with Elixir Zorka Šabac as well. Today, we are a chemical giant in the region that employs more than 1,000 people in member companies operating at Prahovo location.

Production program
Elixir Zorka complex mineral fertilizers are characterized by a high concentration of nutrients, uniform granulation and high water solubility in the soil.
Aluminium fluoride is a high-quality product, with a high concentration (typically more than 97%) and a low content of impurities.

Presence on the world market
From a producer of phosphoric acid for our own production, we have become an important supplier of this raw material to various industries in 20+ highly developed European countries. Thus, Elixir Prahovo phosphoric acid is used today on tomato plantations in Italy, in the detergent industry in Poland, for wood protection in Sweden, for wastewater treatment and the paper industry in Austria, in the European automotive industry and for many other applications. AlumoFlour (AlF3) is also used in various industries around the world, and NPK mineral fertilizers from the brand Elixir Zorka are used in more than 80 countries on all continents.
Technological processes
The production process is ensured by state-of-the-art equipment that meets all the requirements of modern industrial production. All production facilities in Prahovo work according to high European standards, with brand new equipment and the application of the latest technologies, which correspond to world parameters, all with the aim of preserving the environment and product quality. Investments to date in the production capacity of Elixir Prahovo, as well as planned investments in the coming period, are aimed at improving production capacity, quality and environmental protection.
Application of international standards
Production in Elixir Prahovo is carried out according to the highest standards and in accordance with EU reference documents (BREF reference document) and the application of the best available techniques (Best Available Techniques – BAT) relevant to the production process and activities, as well as in accordance with domestic legislation in the field of environmental protection.
