Background and tradition of Elixir Group<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Elixir Group business system has grown from a family business into one of the most successful domestic companies operating according to world standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expertise in the chemical industry, which is the foundation of the success of the business system, has been built since 1938, when the first mineral fertilizer factory in \u0160abac started operating. The company Elixir Group was founded in 1990 as a family company “Narcis Popovi\u0107”. Since then, through continuous investments, it has developed into the regional leader in the agro and chemical industry, with a constant increase in the number of employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an effort to create high-quality products for end users, Elixir Group continuously invests in research and development, analyzes trends in regional and world markets, with a special emphasis on contemporary trends and the development of new technologies. For us, every recognition means confirmation of significant results achieved in the development of the Serbian economy and improvement of the chemical industry and agricultural production.<\/p>\n\n\n

2022<\/h4>

In accordance with the strategic priorities, Elixir Group Business System establishes the Center for the Application of Circular Economy CPCE in order to move from a linear to a circular business model.<\/p>\n

Elixir Engineering was founded by the management of the company Elixir Group as an effective mechanism for the stimulation of own investments and innovations as well as the development of new ones.<\/p>\n

A decade of experience has created a relationship of trust with patients, and the doctors and medical professionals of ST Medicina provide comprehensive and modern service, diagnostics and treatment. ST Medicina continues its dedicated work on disease prevention and the promotion of healthy lifestyle habits as a member of the large Elixir family.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n

2021<\/h4>

The newly built facility for the production of aluminum trifluoride (AlumoFluor | AlF3) within Elixir Prahovo industrial complex began operating.<\/p>\n

In order to protect the environment, 3 million euros were invested for the improvement of technological processes in Elixir Zorka, which concerned the installation of scrubber systems and further improvement of the technological process.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

2020<\/h4>

Elixir Craft was founded as a technical center that has become a business support in the construction and maintenance part.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n

Elixir Fondacija was founded with the aim of strengthening local communities and improving the quality of life.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

2017<\/h4>

Elixir Group sold the factory for the production of monocalcium phosphate to Phosphea, which is part of the Roullier Group, the largest producer of feed phosphate that now operates within the Industrial Chempark Prahovo complex.<\/p>\n

In the same year, the plant for the production of NPK mineral fertilizers started operating within Elixir Prahovo complex.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n

Elixir Zorka reached full production capacity.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Start of operation of newly built plants in Elixir Zorka.<\/p>\n

Already within the first half of the year, 100,000 tons of complex mineral fertilizers were produced, of which more than 60% were exported to Southeastern European countries. Today, the capacities are 4 times larger and the model Waste to Chemicals is applied.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n

2012<\/h4>

Elixir Group privatized IHP Prahovo.<\/p>\n

In just a few years after the privatization of IHP Prahovo, after investments of over 120 million euros, Elixir Prahovo has become the leading producer of phosphoric acid, complex mineral fertilizers and phosphorus-based mineral nutrients. With significant investments in the revitalization of this former giant, we secured a strategically important raw material for us – phosphoric acid, whose development potential in the higher stages of processing opens up numerous new opportunities.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

2011<\/h4>

Elixir Group privatized the company \u201cZorka – mineralna \u0111ubriva\u201d in \u0160abac. With an investment of 38 million euros, a completely new factory called Elixir Zorka was built on the site of the existing completely devastated buildings.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n

2007<\/h4>

Elixir Feed Additives, which previously operated as a department within the company \u201cNarcis Popovi\u0107i\u201d, became a separate company as a member of Elixir Group due to the increase in the volume of work.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

1992<\/h4>

Like Zorka, in the 1990s IHP reached the collapse of the industry that had existed until then. There was an interruption of production, the devastation of existing production facilities and the decline of the former giant of the chemical industry.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n

Due to the war and sanctions, the lack of financial resources led to the collapse of the former giant Chemical Industry Zorka \u0160abac. In the same period, the company “Narcis Popovi\u0107i” was founded, which today operates as Elixir Group Business System.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

1989<\/h4>

IHP Prahovo achieved its greatest success, when the factory was operating at 75-100% capacity at that moment, employing almost 4,500 workers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n

1960<\/h4>

The Industry of Chemical Products Prahovo (IHP Prahovo) was founded as a superphosphate factory, i.e. as a continuation of the technological chain of the Basin-Bor metallurgical complex. In the next thirty years, it went through different development phases and increased the production capacities of P2O5, NPK fertilizers and sodium tripolyphosphate.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

1938<\/h4>

Expertise in the chemical industry, which is the foundation of the success of the business system, has been built since 1938, when the first mineral fertilizer factory in \u0160abac started operating. On the initiative of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, the company Zorka a.d. was moved from Subotica to \u0160abac. The goal was to expand the range of chemical products by building new capacity with an emphasis on the production of base inorganic chemicals.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\n\n
